Let’s be honest; you don’t want to spend your evening posing in front of the camera and feeling awkward. Instead, you want images that capture the connection you have with your partner, your kids' personalities, those little scrunchy-nose smiles and missing front teeth, and simply celebrate each new milestone in life.
This is where our experience and laid-back personalities come into play. Brent is an expert in naturally posing you highlighting your true personality and making you look fabulous while ensuring your little ones loosen up and feel comfortable. Trust us, after 30+ years and over 3,000 photo shoots, this is not our first rodeo and we have your back!

How It Works
Step 2: Relax and smile!
Before your session, we’ll nail down your dream location and share our Prep Guide. It will walk you through everything from choosing outfits to tips for getting the kiddos to cooperate. On the day of your shoot, take a breath and relax! Brent will art direct like a pro, so you’re never wondering how to stand to look your best or what to do with your hands.
Step 3: The Big Reveal
Within 2 weeks of your session, you’ll receive your gallery link. Grab some tissues for happy tears!
Step 4: getting your portraits on the wall
Now comes the fun part: we'll walk you through our hand-picked, heirloom quality products you can use your discount on so you can show off your stunning portraits. We want your portraits to bring smiles to your faces every day for many years to come!

What is our scheduling process?
We prefer to discuss scheduling over the phone during your session consultation. We've found this ensures all of your questions are answered and there is no confusion. Once we have answered all of your questions and decided on a date and location, we'll email a proposal which includes helpful information about your session and your contract and session retainer invoice.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
As soon as possible, especially if you need a particular date or have limited availability. We schedule throughout the year, and we have a waitlist during our busy seasons. Sessions during the week are sometimes easier to schedule.
Frequently asked questions
WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST FOR MY SESSION?
The best time for your session depends on the time of year and location. We prefer to do park sessions in the morning or afternoon, usually avoiding midday. We prefer to do beach sessions towards the end of the day. Also, if young children will be included in the session, it is important to keep in mind the best time of day for them. During your consultation we'll determine the time that works best considering all of these factors and more.
Can we include our pets in our family photos?
Of course! Please feel free to bring your furry family members (pets) along. They are wonderful additions to family photo shoots, and they deserve their place in the family portrait.
